As per a report from the reliable Cat Radio, Spanish giants Barcelona are set to confirm the arrival of a major addition to the club's squad this coming week.
Barca stuttering
The Blaugrana visited Valencia last night, for their latest La Liga outing.
The matchup came as Barca's 3rd under the guidance of Quique Setien, after the Spanish tactician replaced Ernesto Valverde on the Camp Nou bench last week.
The Catalan giants' first two fixtures with Setien at the helm had not exactly proven inspiring, as Barcelona struggled to consecutive 1-goal victories over Granada and minnows Ibiza.
And to say that things did not exactly improve much at the Mestalla would be putting it lightly.
A lifeless performance on the part of the Blaugrana eventually saw hosts Valencia emerge with a deserved 2-0 win, courtesy of a pair of strikes from Maxi Gomez.
Barca making moves
As per the aforementioned report from the reliable Catalunya-based Cat Radio, though, the board at the Camp Nou are ready to lend a helping hand to the club's under-fire new boss, in the form of reinforcements to Quique Setien's squad.
It is claimed that a 'bomb' (major) signing will be announced by the La Liga champions this week.
The arrival is widely expected to be a centre-forward, with Barca lacking in options up top on the back of Luis Suarez's long-term injury.
It is added, though, that the signing will not be either Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez, or Valencia attacker Rodrigo:
