In the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, Chelsea defeated Porto 2-0 on away field, achieving the first two consecutive Champions League knockout games in team history in 17 years.

The game was played in the neutral Seville. As the nominal away team, Chelsea defeated Porto 2-0 through Mount and Chilwell's efforts.

According to statistics, this is the first time Chelsea have won a 2-game winning streak in a Champions League knockout match since April 2004. The Blues coach was Ranieri  at that time.
