Kylian Mbappe's future has been one of the most spoken-about topics of this summer transfer window, but the French media insist the player is likely to spend 2021/22 at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Frenchman's contract at the Parc des Princes ends at the end of the season and he will then be able to leave the club on a free transfer, so Real Madrid had been linked with making a move for the forward this summer. The logic is that PSG would rather cash in now than lose him for free in a year.
However, Le Parisien have reported that there won't be any transfer this window.
"For all of those who haven't understood, or don't seem to understand, particularly in Spain, Mbappe will stay at PSG this year, as this newspaper revealed on July 1," wrote Le Parisien, rather forcefully.
It seems clear now that, as MARCA had previously reported, Mbappe and PSG's tension levels have lowered somewhat, and he has made his happiness clear on social media of late.
Again, as MARCA have reported already, Mbappe is expected to feature in some part against Troyes when PSG kick off their Ligue 1 season.
