Chelsea's 2020/21
Chelsea endured a mixed 2020/21 campaign to say the least.
It began pretty poorly, with the Blues having even looked as though they would struggle to crack the top-four under Frank Lampard.
However, Lampard would eventually be replaced by Thomas Tuchel, who transformed Chelsea into one of the best sides in Europe.
During his short period in charge, Tuchel has already picked up wins over Manchester City, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Leicester City.
The German also secured a 4th place finish in the Premier League – a feat which looked altogether unlikely before he took over.
In addition, of course, Tuchel guided the Londoners to just their second-ever Champions League trophy.
Havertz on Chelsea's aims for 2021/22
Kai Havertz was the man to net the winner in that final, etching his name indelibly into Chelsea's history books.
And now, the German has been discussing his side's goals for the upcoming campaign.
The Blues will kick off their season in a meeting with Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace next Saturday.
Ahead of the game, though, Havertz has insisted that winning the Champions League is just the start when it comes to Chelsea's ambitions:
"We all dreamed of winning the Champions League one day, and of course now we have to prove it again and again.
"I think we have all a lot of goals this season. The Champions League title is not enough for us, we want to win more and that's our aim for the season.
"We have a very good squad, we have good players. That is the same for the pre-season, that everybody will be fit and that we are ready to play."
