Antonio Conte left Dele Alli out of his Tottenham Hotspur squad for their 2-0 defeat away to London rivals Chelsea on Sunday evening as he edges closer to an exit
The former England midfielder was left out of the matchday squad by Antonio Conte for Spurs' trip to face their London rivals at Stamford Bridge.
Second half goals from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva sealed a 2-0 win for Chelsea, causing Spurs to drop to seventh place in the Premier League.
However, Conte's side remain in a promising position in the race for a top four finish with several games in hand on their Champions League rivals.
While his team-mates were trailing to Chelsea, though, Alli posted a video on his TikTok account before later deleting it.
The video showed Alli sat down using a filter which showed a side-by-side comparison to an animal it deemed he looked like.
As the filter landed on a picture of a mole, Alli smiled and turned to someone else in the room out of shot.
He captioned the post: “Can lowkey see it," along with several crying laughing emojis.
A number of Spurs fans were quick to point out the poor timing of the upload, with Spurs 2-0 down at the time, and the post was soon taken down.

Alli's absence from Sunday's squad comes as he is increasingly linked with a move away from Spurs before the end of the January transfer window.
With over two years remaining on his current deal, Alli has been identified as a player that can be sold to help raise funds for Conte's planned overhaul of the squad.
Both West Ham United and Newcastle United have been linked with a move before the end of the month, with Alli believed to be keen on a move to St. James' Park.
He has been unable to establish himself under Conte, making just six appearances since the Italian's arrival in November.
